Privacy Policy

Learn what information is used to provide StrangerCam and how to contact us about privacy.

Effective October 24, 2026

1. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to StrangerCam on strangercam.tv, including the public website, profile browsing, random matching, messages, one-on-one video features, and related support interactions. It does not describe a different website that happens to use a similar name.

2. Information used to provide the service

When you visit StrangerCam, the service may process basic device, browser, network, language, page, and usage information needed to deliver pages, maintain a session, prevent misuse, and diagnose failures.

If you choose to create or use a profile, send a message, contact support, or use another interactive feature, the service processes the information you provide for that purpose. Avoid sharing information you do not want another participant to see.

3. Camera, microphone, and media

Browsing public pages does not require camera or microphone access. Your browser asks for permission when you begin a feature that needs video or audio.

Video-chat data must be processed to connect and operate the conversation. Do not assume that every communication is anonymous, unrecorded, or end-to-end encrypted. Other participants may use their own devices in ways outside StrangerCam’s control.

4. Payments

Optional paid services may use a payment provider. Payment providers process payment credentials under their own terms. StrangerCam may receive transaction identifiers, status, product, price, and limited account or device information needed to record and support a purchase. Do not email full card details to support.

5. Cookies and similar storage

StrangerCam may use cookies, local storage, or similar technology to keep a session working, remember settings such as age confirmation, support security, and understand product performance. Browser controls can remove or limit storage, but some features may stop working as expected.

6. Service providers and disclosures

Information may be handled by hosting, content delivery, communications, fraud-prevention, analytics, customer-support, and payment providers acting for the service. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, investigate misuse, or preserve the service.

StrangerCam does not publish a promise that personal information is never shared. Any disclosure should be limited to the purpose and applicable requirements.

7. Retention and deletion

Information is kept for the period needed to provide the feature, maintain security and transaction records, handle disputes, and meet legal obligations. The period can differ by data type and service context. We do not state a fixed deletion period where the operational rule has not been verified.

8. Your choices and requests

You can control camera and microphone permissions in your browser, stop a conversation, remove local browser storage, and choose what information to share. For a privacy request, email [email protected] with enough detail to identify the issue or relevant profile. We may need to verify that a requester is authorized before acting.

9. Contact

For privacy questions about strangercam.tv, email [email protected]. Do not include passwords, verification codes, full payment-card details, or unnecessary private recordings.
